1950s Vintage Cotton Paisley Wrap Dress Full Skirt

I think this was originally a robe but due to the overlap of the wrap styling, I think you can make it work as a dress quite well. Measures 14” across the shoulders, 37” through the bust; right now, with the snap where it is, the waist is 28”, but you can move the snap and/or tie the dress more tightly with the attached sash to make it fit smaller. You could also make it bigger, but you may not get the full wrap coverage if you move it over to make the waist bigger. Hips are full and length is 45”. Three quarter length sleeves are 17” long from top of shoulder to cuff. Has one snap at waist and the only other fastening is the wrap tie at the waist.  Fabric is cotton, unlined. Label reads ”Loungers”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are olive green, navy, bright blue and hot pink. No pockets; sash can be tied at back or front. Shawl collar lapel.

1950s Vintage Leslie Fay Summer Full Skirt Floral Dress

Measures 37” through the bust, 27” at the waist, full through the hips and length is 43”. Has beautiful detail with fitted bodice, very full skirt and bows on shoulders. Buttons down front to waist with faux pearl shank buttons; fabric is wallpaper style print worked in a chevron design. Fabric is semi-sheer cotton batiste; great for hot summer days.  Label reads ”a Leslie Fay original”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains; has original belt as well. True colors are medium dusty blue, light green, pink, white and black.

Very good condition with no holes; has one very faint water spot about 1” in diameter on back of shoulder. Hard to spot. True colors are mauve, white, yellow green, light olive green and deep and hot pinks. Straight in cut with nylon back zipper. No pockets.

1960s Vintage Watercolor Floral Summer Sheath

Measures 40” through the bust, 34” at the waist, 40” through the hips and length is 41”. Fitted sheath shape with metal back zipper and large bow trim at neck.  Fabric is shiny rayon acetate; very lightweight. No label, old size tag only. Good condition with no stains; but someone has taken out darts at the waist which left some pinholes. True colors are medium and light blue, a light olive-ish green, pink and white. Has partial lining in skirt section.

Fabric is cotton. Label reads ”Simplicity frock”. Looks unworn but does have a slight spot at the very bottom of the skirt in back. I’ve shown it in the close-up; it’s very hard to see on this print, and no one will ever see it while you’re wearing the dress. No other damage; has original belt. True colors are white, bright blue, medium green and purple.

1980s Vintage Norma Kamali Floral Wrap Spring Dress 

Measures 16” across the shoulders, 40” through the bust, 26” at the waist, 36” through the hips and length is 50”. This is a wrap style dress which fastens with only 2 hooks, so you can move the hooks and make it bigger or smaller if you wish. Fabric is rayon, unlined, with a flat finish. Label reads ”Norma Kamali”. It’s dry clean only and tag says to remove the shoulder pads before cleaning but the shoulder pads are no longer with the dress. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are cherry red, black and white. It may not appear to be cherry red in the photo since the color balance was off and I had to fix it, but that’s the true color. Marked size 10.

Buttons all the way down the front, has bow trim on sleeves and on bust, V-neckline, covered buttons, fitted waist and full skirt. Fabric is nylon, very sheer. Label reads ”an original key to youth fashion”. Very good condition with no stains; has just the tiniest of pinholes around waist level, very hard to spot on this print. I count 3 of them. True colors are white, dusty blue, grey and black. Has metal side zipper and original belt!

1960s Mellow Yellow MOD Playsuit or Romper

Measures 15.5” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 32” at the waist, 40” through the hips and length is 33”. Length from waist area to bottom of shorts leg along outside seam is 16” and inseam is 4” long. Fabric is a woven honey comb almost quilted fabric probably cotton/dacron blend. Label reads ”designer separate shop L. S. Ayres and Co” ( defunct Indianapolis department store)”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is sunshine yellow. Buttons down front and has pockets on legs; perhaps for your golf balls. Would be a good tennis dress if white. In the photo, the lining is hanging out of the pockets; they are actually not patch pockets as they might appear but only flap pockets.

Vintage 1950s Blue Summer Gingham Shirtwaist Dress

Measures 16” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 28” at the waist, full through the hips and length is 43”. Has short sleeves, buttons all the way down the front, straight-cut bodice and pleated skirt. Fabric is soft cotton. No label, no lining. Good condition with no holes; has the one light brown spot you see in the close-up; it’s about ½” and is just below the waistline in front. Has a tiny fray on the waistband as well which a belt would cover. Also has a few added snaps hidden under the front placket to supplement the buttons. True colors are navy and white.

Vintage Floral Print MOD Mini Tunic and Matching Shorts 60s

Tunic measures 42” through the bust, 35” at the waist, 44” through the hips and length is 36”. Shorts measures from 26” to 36” at waist ( elastic) , 44” through the hips , inseam is 2” long and outside seam is 16” long. I always recommend going by the outside seam to judge length on vintage shorts as they fit very differently than modern shorts. Fabric is cotton twill. No label, no lining. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are cobalt blue, hot pink, carnation pink, white, yellow and green. Tunic has metal back zipper and two slits in front for ease of movement; each is 13” long.

1950s Summer Rockabilly Blouse and Pedal Pusher Set

Top measures 40 inches through the bust, 34 inches at the waist and length is 21inches. Top buttons down the back. Pants measure 26 inches at the waist, 38 inches through the hips, inseam is 18 inches long and outside seam is 29 inches long. Leg opening is 7.75 inches in diameter. I always recommend going by the outside seam to judge length on vintage pants as they fit very -differently than modern pants. Pants have metal back zipper and two hip pockets. Fabric is cotton. Label reads (Fruit of the Loom). Good condition with no holes or stains; but zipper on pedal pushers is broken; see close-up. If you are good with this sort of repair you might be able to get it back on track; otherwise it can easily be replaced. True colors are white with black trim.

Has two inseam pockets in skirt for those tips and a 4.5” slit on each side of the skirt at them hem for ease of movement. Fabric is 100% Dacron polyester. Label reads ”Howard uniforms”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are white with pale blue embroidery. Cheosam style with cuffed short sleeves, fitted cut from neck to hem, mandarin style collar and metal back zipper.
