1970s Vintage Floral Print Asian Summer Dress Kimono Sleeves

This was made from a vintage dress that was restyled to have more pizzazz! I think it was probably full length and the fabric from the bottom became the sleeves or it might even be two dresses put together. Measures 16” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 28” at the waist, 46” through the hips and length is 41”. Full cut kimono style sleeves are 24” long from top of shoulder to cuff. Fabric is polyester, unlined. Label reads ”Karen Zambos vintage couture”. Mint, unworn condition with no holes or stains; has original hang tag. True colors are light blue-ish grey, gold, brown, and charcoal. Has nylon back zipper.

1960s Vintage Nubby Wool Jackie O Suit

Jacket measures 16” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 34” at the waist and length is 18”. Three-quarter length sleeves are 17” long from top of shoulder to cuff. Skirt measures 24” at the waist, 35” through the hips and length is 23” with 2” to let out of hem if desired. Fabric is nubby wool with rayon crepe lining. Label reads ”Forstmann”. Good condition with no holes; has a few smudge type faint spots that should come out with cleaning. True color is off-white or vanilla. Jacket is cropped and boxy with three-quarter length sleeves and large buttons. Skirt is straight with metal side zipper.

1970s Vintage Bohemian Peasant Dress Floral Large

Measures 16” across the shoulders, 40” through the bust, 50” at the waist, 50” through the hips and length is 45”. Sleeves are 14” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Really cute style with front button placket, short shirred and puffed sleeves that end in elastic cuffs, loose fit below gathers at yoke; can be worn loose or belted to fit at waist as I’ve shown in the photos. Would be a great maternity dress as well. Fabric is soft, lightweight rayon, unlined. Label reads ”Robbie bee”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are black, hot pink, white, lavender and green.

1960s Vintage Velvet Formal Empire Waist 1820s Look

Measures 14” across the shoulders, 33” through the bust, 28”at the (high empire) waist, 38” through the hips and length is 60”. Straight in cut with empire waist and puffed sleeves, has metal back zipper. There’s nothing wrong with the zipper; this dress was just a little small on my mannequin so it pulled open a bit. It won’t do that on someone who fits the dress.  Fabric is rayon velvet, unlined. No label, just old size tag. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are deep bottle green and cream. Would be great for Jane Austin era play .

1960s Vintage Tweed Suit Large Fur Collar

Although this was probably made in the late 60s, it has the look of a 30s suit with the long jacket and the half belt in back. Jacket measures 15” across the shoulders, 39” through the bust, 32” at the waist, 40” through the hips and length is 28”. Sleeves are 23” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Skirt measures 29” at the waist, 40” through the hips and length is 27.5”. Jacket is long with two large patch pockets on front and half belt in back. Skirt is straight with nylon zipper and has two front pockets.  Fabric is wool with rayon lining and opossum collar. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains; only flaw is that someone has added an inch of another fabric near the button on the skirt to make the waist bigger. I’m sure it can be removed. True colors are medium brown, dark grey and cream with flecks of red and gold.

1970s Vintage Mexican Embroidered Peasant Dress Boho

 Measures 16” across the shoulders, 46” through the bust, 40” at the waist, 46” through the hips and length is 44”. Loose free shape with no defined waist, pulls on over head with no fastenings. Fabric is rayon. Label reads ”Edith Schwab”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are light pink with lavender, dark pink, yellow and green embroidery. Fabric has tiny embroidered knot over-all pattern.

1960s Royal Blue Velvet Formal Empire Waist

There’s nothing wrong with the zipper; it’s just a little too small for my mannequin so I couldn’t zip it all the way up. Measures 31” through the bust, 26” at the (high) waist, 36” through the hips  and length is 51”. Fabric is rayon velvet. Straight in cut with empire waist and nylon back zipper. No maker’s label; factory tag only. Very good condition with no holes; has just slight fading on the edge of the bow as you can see in the close up and needs to be steamed to get a few “dents” out of the nap of the velvet. True color is a beautiful royal blue with  purple satin bow. Rhinestone buttons are shank style set in silver-tone metal. Fully lined in rayon.

1960s Vintage Red Velvet Cocktail Sheath Christmas Party!

Measures 15” across the shoulders, 34” through the bust, 30” at the waist, 36” through the hips and length is 38.5”. Sleeves are 22.5” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is rayon velvet. No label, no lining. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is deep cherry red. Straight in cut with metal back zipper; note the pointed sleeves.

1960s Velvet Cocktail Suit with Beading Large!

Jacket measures 16” across the shoulders, 44” through the bust, 42” at the waist and length is 21.5”. Sleeves are 17” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Skirt measures 32” at the waist, 44” through the hips and length is 28”. Fabric is rayon velvet. No label, no lining. Jacket is in excellent condition with no holes or stains; skirt has had waistband taken off and reattached, it appears;  the stitching is a little obvious and crooked but it’s not very serious. It’s hard to spot on the black fabric and the jacket helps to hide it. There are a few hanging threads from the hem you can just snip off. True color is black. Jacket is cropped and boxy with three-quarter length sleeves and large covered buttons; no collar, has braid trim around front edge, hem and sleeve cuffs. Jacket has appliquéd braid trim with beads and dangle balls. Skirt has metal side zipper and is A-line.

1970s Groovy Green Velvet Jumpsuit

Measures 15” across the shoulders, 34” through the bust, 26” at the waist, 36” through the hips and total length is 53”. Inseam is 25" long and outside seam is 37" long from waist seam to bottom hem. Leg opening is 12" in diameter. I always recommend going by the outside seam to judge length on vintage pants as they fit very differently than modern pants. Sleeves are 21” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is rayon velvet. No label, no lining. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is a deep olive green. Buttons down front to hip level and has two “L” pockets on hips. Has buttons on cuffs and full cut legs.

1960s  Red Velvet Cocktail Dress Illusion Sleeves

Measures 16” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 34” at the waist, 38” through the hips  and length is 47”. Sleeves are 25” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is rayon, unlined. Body of dress is velvet and sleeves are red sheer “illusion” fabric. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains; just needs a tiny bit of seam repair under one arm. True colors are bright cherry red velvet with darker red sleeves. Dress is straight in cut with nylon back zipper and 12” long side slit in skirt.  Probably home made but still nice.

1960 Velvet Maxi Dress Garnet Red

Measures 36” through the bust, 27” at the waist, 36” through the hips and length is 55”. Fabric is rayon velvet. No label. Very good condition with no holes; has the spot you see in the close-up; it measures about ½” square and is at hip level on the back of the skirt. Also needs a tiny bit of repair at top of slit seam. True color is dark red. Straight sheath shape with deep side slit (20” long) and nylon back zipper. Unlined.

1960s Vintage Chartreuse MOD GO-GO Mini-Dress

Measures 16” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 30” at the waist, 40” through the hips and length is 35”. Sleeves are 21.5” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is polyester flat weave—not stretchy. No label; lined in skirt section only. Good condition with no holes; has the faint water spot you see in the close-up and slight brown spot on one button. Also needs to be pressed so lining won’t hang below bottom hem. True color is bright chartreuse; much brighter than the photos show. Has nylon zipper down center back; buttons are purely ornamental.

Vintage 1970s Floral Maxidress Sexy Wrap Style

Calling Rhoda Morgenstern and Mary Richards! Does stretch a little so I’ve given maximum measurements; fit well on my modern size 3-4 mannequin. Measures 14” across the shoulders, 35” through the bust, 25” at the waist, 35” through the hips and length is 59”. Wraps around and snaps down front; a strip of trim crosses around the back and then under the bust and snaps into place to give a sexy fitted shape. Fabric is polyester jersey, stretchy but not shiny; has a soft brushed surface. Label reads ”Juli California ”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are orange, yellow, purple, black and white. Unlined.

Vintage 1970s Bright Floral Summer Jumpsuit

Measures 34” through the bust, 26” at the waist, full through the hips and total length is 53”. Inseam is 27" long and outside seam is 39.5" long;  measured from waist level to bottom hem. Leg opening is a whopping 28" in diameter. I always recommend going by the outside seam to judge length on vintage pants as they fit very differently than modern pants. Has low cut-back with button cross-piece and elastic at waist to help you get it on; no other fastenings. Straight cut to waist, then legs flare out in palazzo pant style. Fabric is cotton in a ribbed weave. No label, no lining. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are hot pink, bright red, white and a couple shades of darker red.

1960s Vinyl MOD See Through RainCape and Hat

Wig head NOT included.  Cape measures 18” across the shoulders, 54” through the bust (remember your arms will be in there with you), 60” through the hips and length is 40”. Fabric is vinyl. Label reads ” a Jem product -- Taiwan ”. Good condition with no holes; does have some fading near the bottom as I’ve shown in the close-ups. True colors are pink and white. The hat has an inner diameter of 10” and height to top of crown is 9”. Has ties under chin. Excellent condition with no damage. Also has a matching triangular scarf that isn’t pictured. Cape has no sleeves, but has slits for the hands to come out. Has 4 buttons down the front.

1970s Outrageous Elephant Bell Jumpsuit

Measures 15” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 26” to 32” at the waist (elastic), hips are 44” and total length is 58”. Sleeves are 24” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Length from top of shoulder to waist is 17”. Measuring legs from waist down inseam is 28" long and outside seam is 40" long. Leg opening is 32” in diameter—that is NOT a typo. They are huge!. I always recommend going by the outside seam to judge length on vintage pants as they fit very -differently than modern pants. Fabric is polyester--shiny. Label reads ”J. C. Penny”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are bright blue, light blue, pink and green. Has butterfly collar, nylon zipper from neckline down to hip level, and pleated, very full legs. Measures 35” through the bust, 26” at the waist, 44” through the hips (pleated skirt has a bit of fullness) and length is 38.5”. This is a knit so it will stretch a little larger than those measurements. Fabric is polyester knit. Label reads ”Lester Paul Dallas”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains, but original belt is missing. True colors are navy, white and light blue. Has nylon back zip.

1960s Sophisticated Knit Suit with Lucite Confetti Buttons

Jacket measures 16” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 34” at the waist and length is 23”. Sleeves are 21” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Skirt measures 28” at the waist, 38” through the hips and length is 27.5”. Fabric is wool knit, soft, but with enough substance to hold its shape well. Label reads ”handmacher”. Excellent condition with no holes; has two small (1/4”) repairs low on side of skirt, you have to have your nose right up to them to spot them so I don’t think they will bother you too much : )  True colors are black with silver confetti buttons. Jacket is boxy in fit with three-quarter length sleeves and those great buttons; also has satin piping. Skirt is straight with nylon side zipper.

1960s Spring Formal Prom Dress Vanilla and Raspberry

Measures 35” through the bust, 26” at the waist, full through the hips and length is 57”. Has fitted bodice, full skirt with built-in crinoline and metal back zipper.  Fabric is rayon taffeta.  No label. Very good condition with no holes; has the one stain you see in the close-up; it is in back, near the base of the zipper, so it’s about 9” below the waistline in the center of the skirt and measures about 1/3”. True colors are off-white and light pink.

This two piece dress consists of a long sheath dress with spaghetti straps and a shell top that fits over the top. The shell would be great worn with another skirt or cream slacks. Dress measures 34” through the bust, 26” at the waist, 38” through the hips and length is 56”. Shell top measures 35” through the bust, 30” around at bottom hem and length is 19”.  Fabric is linen/rayon blend. Label reads ”J P Allen-- Atlanta ”. Good condition with some slight wear on spaghetti straps of dress, and some soil around the hemline; may come out with cleaning.  True colors are pink with white beading and ball trim.

The rhinestone buttons you see in the last photo are original but only ornamental as the snaps hold the jacket closed. Skirt is straight with nylon side zipper.

1970s ARNOLD SCASSI Print Silk 2 Piece Dress

Top measures 15” across the shoulders, 40” through the bust, 36” around at bottom hem and length is 20”. Sleeves are 26” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Skirt measures 30” at the waist, is full through the hips and length is 26.5”. Fabric is silk. Label reads ”Arnold Scaasi”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains; only strange thing is that the zipper on the blouse extends below the bottom hem. It made have been added, but is well done. True colors are various shades of deep purple and dark red along with a muted gold and a very pale blue. Top has mandarain collar, covered buttons and loops down center back with hidden nylon zipper, full sleeves that taper to a tight fit at the cuff and gathering at shoulder seams. Each sleeves has 4 covered buttons at wrist. Both pieces are fully lined in silk. Skirt has hooks on waistband, nylon zipper and box pleats, so it’s fairly full.

1970s DISCO Sequined Tube Top

This is all elasticized so I’ll give a range of measurements; top “hem” across bust will fit from 24” to 30” and the bottom is about the same.  Length is 11”. Fits well on my size ¾ B cup mannequin. Fabric is 60% acetate, 35% acrylic 5 % rubber. No store or designer label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are black. Pulls on overhead with no fastenings. Soft knit on inside. Completely covered in sequins all sewn on!

This is a knit and will stretch somewhat but I will give you the flat, Unstretched measurements and you can figure that it will stretch a couple of inches larger. Measures 34” through the bust, 32” at the waist and length is 23” not including fringe. Fringe is 1.5” long. Has metal zipper down center back and is fully lined. Fabric is 100% wool. Label reads ”made in Hong Kong ”. Good condition with no holes or stains; has missing beads from 5 of the fringe strands –see close-up. True color is French vanilla with iridescent white sequins and beads.

Measures 25” at the waist, 36” through the hips and length is 38”. Fabric is cotton velvet  with a stiff hand. No label, no lining. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are black and white. Has button on waist and nylon side zipper. Over 1/3 of the bottom of the skirt is covered with intricate white embroidery all the way around the skirt. Skirt is straight in cut but has a deep back vent for ease in walking.

Excellent condition with no holes or stains; has a bit of wear in a ½” area at top edge of waist, but nothing serious. True colors are black with silver-tone buckle. This is a warp skirt with hooks and eyes on the inside; you put the top layer of the waist area through the buckle at top right to complete the closure. So you could easily make it one size smaller but probably not much bigger. Buckle is heavy and substantial. A-line in shape; has yarn appliqué trim down front edge and around hem.

Measures 34” to 36” through the bust, 34” at the waist and length is 22”. Fabric is wool, fully lined in nylon. Label reads ”made in crown colony of Hong Kong ”. Good condition with no holes or stains; does have a few of the bottom dangles missing but you don’t notice it much as there is a space between each one anyway. True color is pretty pink with iridescent beads. Has metal back zipper.

1960s Mellow Yellow Groovy Flared Cords by LEE

These measure 29" at the waist, 38" through the hips, inseam is 31" long and outside seam is 39" long. Leg opening is 10" in diameter. I always recommend going by the outside seam to judge length on vintage pants as they fit very -differently than modern pants. Fabric is cotton corduroy. Two front pockets, two back pockets, metal front zipper and metal shank button at waist. Label reads ”Lee”. Very good condition –has some slight soil low on one leg which I tried to show in the close-up photo but it’s almost to light to show up. True color is sunshine yellow.
