1960s Summer Cocktail Top and Skirt Set Beaded Butterflies L

Top measures 16” across the shoulders, 46” through the bust, 44” around at bottom hem and length is 19.5”. Top is loose and boxy in shape with a square bottom; has metal back zipper.  Skirt measures 33” at the waist, 43” through the hips and length is 26”. Skirt is straight in cut with metal side zipper. Fabric is dacron knit, slightly stretchy and lightweight. No label, manufacturer’s tag only. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is black. Top has sequined butterflies on front; black is unadorned.

1950s Vintage Silk Wiggle Dress and Jacket Asian Brocade

Jacket measures 15” across the shoulders, 40” through the bust, 38” at the waist and length is 25”. Sleeves are 19” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Dress measures 36” through the bust, 28” at the waist, 40” through the hips and length is 45.5”. Fabric is silk. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is winter white. Jacket is boxy and loose in fit with three quarter length sleeves; fastens with three buttons. Dress is fitted sheath shape with nylon back zipper. Jacket has full lining; dress has partial.

Early 1960s Turquoise Tweed Suit

Jacket measures 15.5” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 32” at the waist and length is 21”. Sleeves are 22” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Skirt measures 28” at the waist, 38” through the hips and length is 28”. Jacket is boxy in cut with peter pan collar and metal buttons; skirt is straight with nylon side zipper.  Fabric is wool with full rayon crepe lining in both pieces. Label reads ”tailorbrooke”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are bright turquoise, muted olive green and white.

1950’s Hound's-tooth Fall Suit

Jacket measures 15” across the shoulders, 37” through the bust, 37” at the waist and length is 21”. Sleeves are 19” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Skirt measures 26” at the waist, 37” through the hips and length is 23”. Fabric is wool with full acetate lining in jacket; no lining in skirt. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are black and white—any colors that you see in the photo are due to the camera’s bad reaction to the hound's-tooth pattern. Jacket is boxy with three-quarter length sleeves; skirt is straight with metal side zipper.

1950’s Tweed Suit with Topper-style Jacket

Jacket measures 17” across the shoulders, 50” through the bust, 52” around at bottom hem and length is 25.5”. Sleeves are 21” long from top of shoulder to cuff. Skirt measures 28” at the waist, 38” through the hips and length is . Fabric is wool, with acetate lining in jacket only. No label. Good condition with the worn spots in the close-up photo being the only damage. True colors are rusty red and black tweed. Jacket has one button at neck, A-line shape, deep cuffs on sleeves and swing shape. Skirt is long and straight with metal side zipper.

DRESSES

1950s Vintage Nurses Uniform Large Size

Measures 15” across the shoulders, 42” through the bust, 32” at the waist, 42” through the hips and length is 46”. Fabric is sheer nylon seersucker. Label reads ”a Brooks Hagan uniform”. Decent condition with the following flaws: ¼” burn hole on back of skirt, slight yellowed area on bottom of skirt and you will need to get 6 white buttons; they are the shank style with a backing like a bobby pin that keeps them in the two buttonholes in the way tuxedo shirt studs work. True color is light mint green.

1950s Fabulous Net and Satin Formal w Halter Top

Measures 32” through the bust, 25” at the waist, full through the hips and length is 59”. Skirt is over 200” in circumference at bottom hem. Has fitted satin bodice with draped neckline and sexy halter back, wide yoke at waist with lace overlay and two layer, very full skirt with net over rayon. Has metal back zipper. Fabric is rayon with nylon net. No label. Good condition with a few small issues; has the 2” repair in the netting you see in the last photo but it is very close to the bottom hem (4”) and since this dress is so long you might be ok with hemming it up to eliminate this area. There’s also a 1/3” hole in the netting nearby; very hard to spot with the black underskirt. As you can hopefully see in the close-up, there is some discoloration from body oil around neck and arms, but it might come out with cleaning. I haven’t the dress cleaned.  True colors are sky blue and black.

1950s Elegant Beaded Cocktail Dress

Measures 16” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 24” to 30” at the waist (elastic), 38” through the hips and length is 43”. Straight in cut with nylon back zipper. Fabric is rayon crepe with full lining. Label reads ”Hillmans-- Indianapolis ”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is black. Has glass beading over entire dress, front and back. It does have belt loops and I don’t have the belt, but you can snip them off and no one will ever know.

Has tie at neck, round neckline, buttons down front to hip level and straight skirt. Has dolman sleeves.

1950s Vintage Purple Rose Floral Silk Blouse with Scarf

Measures 38” through the bust, 36” at the waist, and length is 22”. Boxy in cut with covered buttons down center back. Scarf is 57” long by 4” wide; it’s completely separate from the blouse so you can wear it with anything! Fabric is silk chiffon with full silk lining. Label reads ”an Adelaar exclusive”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are purplish-blue, aqua, turquoise and white.

1950s Vintage Beaded Sweater Copper on Black Large

Measures 17” across the shoulders, 44” through the bust, 32” at the waist, and length is 23”. Sleeves are 23” long from shoulder seam to cuff. This is a knit and does stretch so I’ve given the flat measurements and you can figure that it will stretch a bit bigger. Fabric is 70 % lambswool, 20 % fur fiber  and 10 % nylon. Body of sweater is lined in chiffon. Has metal hooks and eyes down center front. Label reads ”Miles Sweaters”. Good condition with no holes or stains; has a few small repair spots that are hard to see and come missing beads; maybe 5-10 % total, mostly around the neck, a few on the front edge and a few on the cuffs. It’s just the round beads that are missing; the leaf pattern is intact. True color is black with copper beading.

1950s Vintage Two Tone Cashmere Sweater

This is a knit and does stretch, so I’ll give you the flat measurements and you can figure it will stretch at least a couple inches larger. Measures 16” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 28” at the waist and length is 24”. Three-quarter length sleeves are 16” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is 100 % cashmere unlined. Label reads ”Hadley 100 % cashmere”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are medium grey and off-white. Polo style with button placket down center front. Note the cute pocket! Has ribbing at cuffs and waist.

1950s Pink Spring Cropped Jacket Cute Detail

Measures 15.5” across the shoulders, 36” through the bust, 34” at the waist (maximum—can be made smaller –see below)and length is 18”. Sleeves are 23” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is lightweight soft wool, unlined. Label reads “a Bobbi Brooks original”. Good condition with no holes; has the faint spots on the back of one sleeve that you see in the close-up. Not very noticeable. True color is pale pink. Very cute “Eisenhower” jacket style with cropped boxy fit and two small breast pockets with button trim. Very unusual drawstring at waist can make it fit tighter there; down to at least 26” without too much bunching.

1950s Floral Beaded Black and White Sweater

This is not your run-of-the-mill beaded sweater! Beautiful beaded flowers adorn the front and back and it has glass buttons all the way down the front. I’ll give flat measurements, but be aware that since this is a knit, it will stretch a few inches larger. Measures 16.5” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 28” at the waist and length is 20.5”. Three-quarter length sleeves are 21” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is wool with nylon lining in body. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains; left cuff has just a few beads missing but you have to look very hard to spot them. True colors are black and white.

1960s Lovely Lace Evening Jacket

Measures 15” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 32” at the waist and length is 26”. Sleeves are 18” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is cotton, unlined. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is black. Has jewel neckline, buttons all the way down the front, one pocket low on front and three-quarter length sleeves. Would also make a sexy beach cover-up.

1950s Black Beaded Lambswool Sweater 

Measures 16 inches across the shoulders, 38 inches at the bust and 36 inches at the waist.  Sleeve length is 23 inches and the overall length of the sweater is 24 inches.  Body is lined in black nylon.  Beadwork pattern extends downward from the front shoulders to the waist with small clusters of beads scattered around the front, back and waist band.  No label.  Overall excellent condition with only few of the small bead clusters hanging loose near the bottom.

Fabric is silk, fully lined and slightly filled with batting. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is a very pale mint green. Has covered buttons and bound buttonholes and is boxy in cut.

These measure 25” at the waist, 35” through the hips, outside seam length is 17” and inseam length is 4”. Fastenings are metal side zipper with button on waistband. True colors are bright orange and white. Label reads “ Jamaica short”. Fabric is cotton, unlined. Excellent condition with no damage.

Orange White Wallpaper Print Shorts

These measure 26" at the waist, 36" through the hips, inseam is 5.5" long and outside seam is 17.5" long. Leg opening is 10" in diameter. I always recommend going by the outside seam to judge length on vintage pants as they fit very differently than modern pants. Fabric is cotton. No label, no lining. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are hot orange and white. Metal side zipper, button on waistband, pocket on opposite side of shorts from zipper.
